It’s spring and radishes are in full bloom! If you’ve never had a radish, you’re missing out! These little root vegetables are bright in colour, crunchy and, when eaten raw, have a bit of a peppery bite. Roasting them brings out their inherit sweetness and mellows them ever so slightly.
My Roasted Radish recipe may just become your go-to radish dish. It uses 5 simple ingredients and requires just 5 minutes of prep time. It’s flavourful and couldn’t be easier to make!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
1lb whole radishes, halved
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
Pinch of ground pepper
1 Tbsp chives, finely sliced
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 425F and grab a 10” baking dish. Set aside.
To a large bowl, add the radishes, drizzle them with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Pour the ingredients into the baking dish.
Transfer the baking dish to the oven and roast the radishes for 35 minutes or until fork tender. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chives over top. Serve and enjoy!
